Strong euro makes US real estate affordable

While a Manhattan mansion is rarely cheap, when paid in euros it becomes a bargain. Buoyed by the favourable currency exchange, Europeans are rushing to invest in US property. (Report: Emmanuel Saint Martin)

With a weak dollar, foreigners are snapping up property in the US. They made up 3% of all home sales last year, but in some markets, like New York or Miami, it’s much more.

 Plummeting real estate market and weak dollars are two good reasons for European investors to buy their piece of America.
